College Application Info

Summary of College Application Process
          All request for transcripts should be submitted at least two weeks prior to the application deadline.

Step 1:  Provide your counselor with the following:

                         a) Authorization of Release of Records
                         b) Activity Sheet or Resume (see ** below for info)
                         c) Brag Sheet (optional)

Step 2:  Complete or obtain a current application directly from the college website or the CommonApp (

Step 3:  Request for Transcript - If you complete the CommonApp, a "Request for Transcript" is not needed.  If you complete an application directly from the college website, a "Request for Transcript" form (found below under High School Documents) must be submitted to your counselor. 
             *If you do not inform us of your intention to apply, we will not know to send your transcripts and your application will be incomplete.*

Step 4:  Additional Documents - You are responsible for bringing your counselor any additional materials that need to be mailed to the college (i.e. letters of recommendation, school report forms, CollegeBoard fee waivers, etc.) 
* All paper applications should also be brought to your counselor to be mailed directly from the high school. *

**An activity sheet/resume can be created using Career Cruising.  See your counselor for instructions on creating your resume through Career Cruising.
